In Loving Memory of Bridget (6/2009 - 9/2010)

We are very sad to share that our own little Bridget passed away recently.  She had an inoperable heart condition and we knew her life would be short but the loss still came as a shock to all of us.  This happy, playful girl touched all of our hearts.  She will be loved and remembered forever.  A note from her foster parents who made sure her short life was filled with love:

“What can we say about our sweet Bridget?  We were so lucky to have her find us and so grateful for the little time we spent with her.  Bridget was a sweet and playful puppy (and a awesome chewer of everything) and always had a smile on her face.  She loved other dogs AND cats and was the first to greet us at the door.  She loved playing with her rope toy, tennis ball, 'sliding' on the wood floors with her nylabone and anything that gave her your full attention.  She was extremely smart, learning to sit and shake after 5 attempts.  Most of all, Bridget was a calm old soul who understood the meaning of light walks, enjoying the weather and sitting next to you as you read the paper.  Though she had a bum heart, you could never tell; she lived her life to the fullest and gave us a wonderful year.  We will miss you Bridgi....we will never forget how loving and special you were to us.  Rest in peace sweet baby girl.”
