Mayday Meet & Greet


Come out and meet all of the founders, fosters and volunteers of Mayday rescue and learn how you too can help these great dogs!

(Just past the hospital on the right after 92nd St.)


This amazing local restaurant is giving back to the community.  A portion of every dinner or drink sold will go to Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy to help with the medical costs of the dogs in their care.


So come out…eat, drink and be merry…and save lives!

- Have fun meeting responsible pet owners who are ready to make a difference for dogs

   in need

- Have your dog blessed and join us for a sunset group blessing for homeless dogs

   everywhere


Entrance Fee:

Donation of unopened dog food, treats, pet blankets, dog beds or dog toys.


All breeds welcome!  Dogs must be leashed and well behaved.


All proceeds benefit the dogs in the care of Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy.

Valley Fever Alliance Walk to Save Lives

8 am til 11 am

$25 Entry Fee


Each registration includes an official Walk for Valley Fever cap or visor for people and bandanna for dogs.

Start at 550 E. Van Buren near the Medical Center of the University of Arizona


Our own little Brooklyn and several of our other Mayday dogs have been impacted by this disease.  Please show your support for the efforts to find a cure in humans and canines.


The VFA will hold two Walk to Save Lives events this fall.  The Tucson Event will be held at the University of Arizona Mall on October 10, 2010 and the Phoenix Event will be held on November 7, 2010 at 550 Van Buren near the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona.  The Valley Fever Alliance is an all volunteer organization committed to raising funds and public awareness to support the work of the Valley Fever Center for Excellence (VCFE) at the University of Arizona, Tucson.
